About the Course

Dog Somatics 101 bridges cutting-edge nervous system science and practical canine application. You’ll learn how to identify early signs of dysregulation in dogs and apply gentle, targeted somatic techniques based on polyvagal theory to restore calm and co-regulation. Ideal for professionals, trainers, and devoted owners seeking a deeper, more measurable approach to canine well-being. This foundational course sets the stage for the Waldrup Somatic Method™ Pro Series — giving you the scientific understanding and tactile confidence to bring somatic regulation into any canine environment.

Meet Rose Waldrup, Founder of The Waldrup Somatic Method™

Rose is a certified psychosomatic practitioner specializing in canine nervous system science who helps dogs and their humans move from chaos to calm. After years of navigating her own healing journey through chronic Lyme disease, Rose discovered how somatic regulation can restore both body and spirit — in humans and animals. Today, her Dog Somatics 101 course has reached dog owners and professionals in 30+ countries, teaching a proven framework to calm reactive dogs, build trust, and reconnect on a deep level. “Every technique I teach is rooted in compassion, real-life experience, and the belief that our dogs are always communicating — we just have to learn how to listen.”
